Alan Jones

Alan is the founder of Empowerment Trainings a training organisation dedicated to teaching the skills and benefits of Hypnotherapy and NLP change technologies. He has applied his skills in particular to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder recovery and injury rehabilitation using a unique protocol he has developed and continuing to refine.
As well as being a qualified Hypnotherapy Trainer he is a qualified Adult education Teacher and Accredited Trainer of NLP. He has been in private practice as a Hypnotherapist since 1994 with a wealth of experience in assisting people make changes in their life.
He has taught Counselling skills and an Introduction to NLP for Ealing and West London Adult Education Authority, NLP and Hypnotherapy with NLP Northeast, Talisman Training and Advanced Hypnotherapy with EOS Seminars and of course Empowerment Trainings.
Since qualifying as an NLP Practitioner in 2000 he has incorporated NLP Processes into his practice. He became an accredited trainer of NLP to promote and make available the powerful skills to as wide an audience as possible.

Alan's qualifications include City and Guilds Education (Stage 2), Transformations Hypnotherapist and Hypnotherapy Diploma, EOS Seminars Certificate in NLP Counselling, Master NLP Hypnotherapist diploma, nlp northeast NLP Practitioner, Master Practitioner and Trainer. Alan is noted for his ability to assist people make desired changes easily and effortlessly, and for passing these skills onto his students.

Martin Reed

As well as being and approved trainer with Empowerment Trainings Martin is also the founder of Talisman Training, he came to NLP with a desire to find new ways to help his students learn a specific physical skill. Martin soon realised that the field of NLP had so much more to offer, with applications in any area where humans operate. He has applied his skills to his work in Performance Enhancement, Trauma Support and General Education and Training.
He became an accredited trainer of NLP to promote and make what he believes to be a valuable and powerful skill set, available to a wider audience.
Given his extensive background in dealing with conflict situations he believes that NLP has much to offer in terms of resolution and avoiding physical aggression. His current work involves providing individuals and organisations, with an NLP based skill set to resolve conflict and avoid aggression.
He has provided training in this area to diverse organisations from the customer service environment up to and including firearms officers and hostage and crisis negotiators.
Martin has delivered NLP Practitioner courses for a major UK police service, with participants from many areas of police work benefiting from the application of NLP skills.
Although some areas of his work have potential serious outcomes, he believes the training should be relaxed, fascinating and fun.

Martin holds a BA and PGCE. He is a Master Practitioner and Accredited Trainer of NLP, Qualified Hypnotherapist, Performance Coach and member of The Institute of Conflict Management. He has worked as a corporate trainer and training design consultant for a large public service organisation

Nigel Heatherington

Nigel is an approved trainer with Empowerment Trainings and the founder of Communicating Excellence an NLP and specialist training provider. Nigel practices as an NLP trainer and NLP therapist and hypnotherapist along side personal and business coaching. Nigel has lectured on Newcastle university MBA business course and Sunderland University's PSI Masters course. He has taught on NLP Practitioner and Hypnotherapy courses and several introductory ones. He is working as Professor John Grinders ( co-founder of NLP ) assistant on NLP Trainings and NLP Business Applications in Europe in 2006.

Nigel's interest for NLP began when he attended Newcastle University in 1992 and developed into a real life passion in 2002, in 2003 he started a NLP Practitioner course with NLP Northeast and attained his Master Practitioner in 2005. Nigel completed his NLP Trainer Trainer certification in 2005 from Professor John Grinder whilst still completing his Master Practitioner. Nigel is a qualified hypnotherapist and practitioner in Neuro Hypnotic Repatterning TM

Nigel makes therapy as fast as it can be and advocates training must be experiential and fun he works to help enable people to attain new and generative personal freedom and success.

Nigel holds a varied selection of academic qualifications including B.Eng in Offshore Engineering and has studied for a Masters of Research in Marine Technology and a phD in synthetic submarine coatings. He is a Master Practitioner and certified Trainer Trainer in NLP, has a diploma in hypnotherapy, is an accredited NHRTM practitioner, is a member of the General Hypnotherapy Registrar and a member of the British Board of NLP.
